I think I finally got the email system on the website working. It turned out to be that GoDaddy's servers were rejecting some emails.

EJ updated to 1.137 today.

Changes include:
-Updated Zon Rin Leather look:

-Added new armors.

-Fixed some bugs (not specified).

-Claw armor bonus will not apply unless the claws are out.

-Added goevil and gogood functionality. Requires 10 tokens. You lose jeloc/velanthra and all your boss kills upon doing so.

-Changed the item system. The item list is no longer stored client-side. Items above a certain treasure level are stored server-side. You'll notice in consignment that rarer items will not display their name until you click on them. This is part of this new system. The goal is to prevent hackers from revealing the item list every update, so new items remain hidden.

-Fixed belt colors on models without belt colors. Requires a re-download of the update even if you already have it.

Known Bugs:
-Wands show fighter props but actually have mage props.
-Rings with equip limits don't show the limit but DO still have the limit.

Experience 69-70 was bugged at 500 million.
Here's the new million exp per levels:
300 69-70
300 70-71
300 71-72
300 72-73
400 73-74
400 74-75

EJ checked, and Captain will just barely gain a level from this. Enjoy, Captain.

Level cap will be set at level 75 since an integer cannot support the amount of experience past that point.

Newb bosses will reset to their spawn point when dragged.

Sath will be set to respawn in 30 seconds like other low level bosses, by making him level 24.

Velo mp requirement will be changed.

The email form will attempt several times in a row before giving up now, on xenimus.com, to hopefully fix the problem.

EJ cheated on his girlfriend with someone from craigslist and got in trouble.

My plans for the next update are to add a new armor graphic if you have Zon Rin's armor. I will probably start with spirit leather and then use some of the texture from Zon Rin himself to make it look different. I hope you like the result.

I also want to have the good/evil screen done. People in vent talked about making it cost 15 tokens to switch, but I was thinking along the lines of 10 or 12. The important thing is making it so people don't switch a lot to abuse it. It should be a big decision.

I want to keep the updates from now on small so I can do them more often, but if you have ideas or bugs go ahead and post them here. I can't promise I will have time for all of them but I will certainly look at them and add bugs/good ideas to my notes.

I just put out a new version of the RPG demo. It is a required download. The install is much smaller because I got rid of all the extra textures. Any test accounts will be gone so you will need to create new ones.

The server crashed today and it looks like the backup system failed. That caused a reset of a couple days. I'm really sorry about that and I'm working on the problem.

I did the update today to add some new things and fix some bugs. I'm sorry about the server crashing recently, there seems to be a problem with the backup system. I have done some work on it and hopefully the problem is fixed.

Because of all the extra gold in the game right now I'm holding a lotto for a xencon item. It should help get a lot of gold out of the game and help the economy a lot. You can enter to win as many times as you like. It costs 1 platinum. Just type -xenlotto each time you want to enter. Next Sunday I will choose a random winner. You can enter as many times as you want.

Today while restoring a character there was a problem. I believe the character file was corrupted and when the server attempted the import the corrupted file deleted some characters and goofed up some other stuff. I was forced to reset to this mornings backup file. Sorry for the problem.

Well its done and seems to be working well for most people. If you lost your gear there is still a chance I can restore it for you depending on the date your character was restored from. Email me and I will look into it. The item wipe was at the beginning of 2008 so characters restored before then are wiped and will have their chest pulls reset.
